She is half of me.

She came from me and she shows it.

Her hair, her eyes, her lips, and her fingertips.

She resembles me

And I her.

She is beautiful.

Her beauty is so bright that even the sun can’t take its light.

Her beauty is angelic

When she walks into a room the mood of every being changes

Because her beauty is skin deep

Her beauty soaks into her skin while causing an overflow of kindness, joy, and laughter

She brings kindness, joy, and laughter into the world

Oh, She is beautiful!

Even her faults are filled with beauty

Her mistakes mend broken hearts and show pessimists how to be optimists

Her presence is what she has the power to make people miss.

Oh, her beauty!

Her looks are heavenly because she was formed by the hands of God.

Flawless

Perfect

Without fault

In her mother’s eyes

In her father’s eyes

God created her so she lives with strength

She walks with boldness

She talks with certainty.

She is like David who defeated the giant.

She defeats all of life’s giants and refuses to ever back down.

She is like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego

She refuses to bow down to others

She is set apart

She is set apart for great things.

She does not follow trends

She sets them

She does not get trapped in generational curses

She breaks them

She is half of me

And she shows it

No one can bring her spirit down

Because she lives her life with Gods sound

Because of Christ, everything that causes her to be bound she breaks.

She is her own person

She shows the world that young women can make a difference

Young women can impact the universe

To my dear future daughter, even though you’re not born yet I declare and believe that you are destined for greatness.

So be great,

Walk in greatness,

Claim greatness,

Demand greatness,

And be great in your own and unique way.

Since you come from me, you already have greatness built inside of you.
